It's OFFICIAL: Obama Nominates Clinton...

According to Bloomberg.com, Obama's camp has announced that he will be nominated Hillary Clinton as his Secretary of State. Word on the street is that there might be an announcement as early as this afternoon. With CitiGroup on it's way down-- this administration has got more than it's fair share of work cut out for them. But it seems that Obama is on his way to making a Political Dream-Team... We'll see.

Our New Administration's Gonna Be So TIGHT...

So... Word on the street is that Obama has a short-list of contenders for secretary of state. At the top of this list is none other than former-competitor Hillary Rodham Clinton. Personally, I wouldn't be mad. I wouldn't be mad at all. She has oodles of experience, and a "few good men" from Clinton's former administration are already on board with Obama, so introductions wouldn't be necessary. Even better of an atmosphere to get right down to business and skip the formalities. And, if anyone is about their business-- Hillary Clinton definitely is. With her in this position we could look forward to efficiency, quick-turn arounds and (GASP, dare I say it?)some form or another of universal healthcare. Or at least the closest thing to it. I'm excited.

Obama Down, But CLEARLY Not Out!

Hillary beat out Obama for the Pennsylvania popular vote last night by a 55%-45% percentage point difference. Unfortunately for Hillary, she needed to beat Obama out by at least 60% to have a likelihood of having more delegates and winning the nomination... The race is not over yet, and Hillary is clearly not giving up (although, I personally think she should).... For all you Hillary fans out there, there's still a glimmer of hope... (I guess)

The Old Party Heads Calling a CEASE FIRE!

Word on the street is that the democratic party leaders are unhappy with the way the campaigning is shaping up. They have many fears of the outcome in November, and I can't say those fears aren't legitimate. In the begnning, I was blown away by the fact that we the two democratic front-runners were a black man and a woman respectively. But now, we can really see how torn the country is on the two-- and it's not good for business. Party leaders want Clinton to step down, because the continuance of this power-struggle will most likely cause McCain to be victorious-- and we certainly don't want that. I really don't want 4-8 years of republican rule on our country. Sorry to offend anyone, but it's true. The party wants Clinton to step down and rally behind Obama, instead of dragging out a bitter battle for power. is this likely to happen? Probably not, but in my humble opinion it wouldn't hurt for her to listen.
