It's like no matter what she does, she ends up looking hopelessly tacky and out-dated. Mariah Carey hosted the "Bank" nightclub in bellagio grand opening in Las vegas over the weekend, and the look left much to be desired. First-- spanx ain't cutting it honey, the dress is one size too small. Next, can we see you do something... ANYTHING with your hair? Next, what's with all the matchy-matchy? Black on black on black? She could have fast-forwarded this look to the future with some bright colored tights-- maybe even textured tights would have updated her look. And those shoes? Lawd have mercy. She could have done better in a fresh pair of Chloe mary-janes... But what do I know, right? I'm just a lowly blogger-- she's the pop music diva. SMH.

Well... Maybe not quite yet...Newlyweds Mariah Carey and Nick Carey are already in talks about putting a lil bun in the oven... I mean, her biological clock is ticking so they wanna get this show on the road! One of Mimi's assistants recently contacted Petit Tresor in LA, to chat about nursery decor and baby bobbles...
Mimi's assistant reportedly asked if the store could send fabric samples and if its designers could work with the theme of butterflies! Now we ALL know how much this heffer likes butterflies, so this makes the speculation all the juicier!Benny Medina has told the media that Mimi is not preggers...yet! Ha!
But, Mimi has said that having children is "part of the whole purpose of getting married." Geez, Mariah is gonna be one of those creepy beaty-pageant moms, and every now and again when she drives buy in her Mercededs station wagon her child is gonna hold up a sign reading: "HELP ME!" Sigh.....

I know we all thought (in the back of our minds) that this was a publicity stunt, but it's not! Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey eloped and wed this past week in the Bahamas, and E! News has confirmed it:
Family member Linda Cannon has confirmed to E! News that the couple are, in fact, married.

I didn't want to believe it. I saw the reports yesterday from some "questionable" sources, and I just thought it was BS. But now that I see Perez, Michael K, and other super-bloggers going with the story... I have the confidence... This past weekend, Mimi was at the Toronto Film festival promoting her new film Tennesee and she was flaunting a 20 karat pink diamond engagement ring on the appropriate finger. She flashed her hands in all the shots, and got the papps buzzing like crazy. It has been noted that Mariah has secretly been dating nick Cannon for several months, and we all know how he likes to pop the question to everyone after a few weeks. At first I was a skeptic, but now I BELIEVE! Supposedly, Mariah has not given him a definitive answer yet. My guess is she's trying to break the news to her carpet-munching girlfriend Da Brat-- but maybe that's just me....
