I was on the D train in NYC yesterday, and I saw a poster-ad for a new pill called "BeKanye", with a cheesin' Kanye West on the front. I was very confused, disturbed and disoriented-- I definitely had to google this mess...Kanye West (in conjunction with Absolut Vodka) has made a campaign about a new "pill" called "BeKanye". The spoofish advertisements showcases how to become Kanye West by popping one of his pills... I have no idea what they were on when they concocted this mess, but you can check out the website Here! Below is a clip of the infomercial that Kanye did for the product... This is really so strange, I have no idea what to do with this... SMH.

According to CNN, Obama is leading in the popular vote by 8 points amongst registered voters nationwide. The gap is 49 to 41 with ten percent still undecided... I smell progress, and a change we can believe in!

Lindsay Lohan, ARE YOU SERIOUS?

Initially, when I heard LiLo was coming out with her own leggings line I actually thought it was clever. People had been talking about how Lindsay was EVERYWHERE in leggings, as if she doesn't own anything else. I thought it was a cool and cheeky response to capitalize off of the attention... Until now. How in samhill are you going to charge an average $100 retail for leggings.... LEGGINGS! I can get the same type of leggings for $14.99 on Fordham Road in the Bronx.... Or even $30 at American Apparel for chrissakes! This is an insult! Anyone who would ante-up that kind of dough for leggings needs a reality check, and my phone number-- I will teach you better and craftier ways to waste your money... SMH.

Jesse On Barack: "I wanna cut his nuts off!"

Talk about a Freudian slip, eh? Jesse Jackson is currently picking his face up after the shameful display of player-haterism that he perpetrated on July 6th during a show on Fox News. Jackson did not know his mic was on, and he was discussing how he believes Obama patronizes Blacks. Shoot, I think I seen this ish coming. I mean, just look at JJ's oh-so-critical side-eye action. Obama has been ``talking down to black people on this faith-based,'' Jackson said according to a tape of the comments played on Fox's ``The O'Reilly Factor'' tonight.

``I want to cut his nuts off,'' Jackson then said, according to a report on the Fox News Web site.

Jackson, who didn't know the microphone was on, was commenting on talks Obama has made in black churches about parental responsibility and other social issues.

``Anything I said in a hot-mic statement that's interpreted as a distraction, I offer apologies for that,'' Jackson said at a news conference today.

``I have supported Barack's campaign with passion from the very beginning. I thought the very idea made sense,'' Jackson said. ``We've been there all the way, because I think this campaign is a redemptive moment for America and a great opportunity to redefine America.''

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said Obama ``will continue to speak out about our responsibilities to ourselves and each other, and he of course accepts Reverend Jackson's apology.''

This just makes me like Obama even more. Such humility and patience! Wow. Because if that were me, clearly I'd be breaking out the Vaseline and taking the earrings off. Them's fighting words, Jesse!

Meet 21-year-old Jazmine Sullivan-- my new favorite... This funky soul diva hails all the way from Philly, Pennsylvania. She might be new to you, but she is already an industry veteran. Sullivan has penned songs for the likes of Christina Milian ("Say I"), and has sung back-up vocals on Missy's up-coming album. The soon-to-be-titled debut album by Sullivan will be released soon via J Records. Her new single titled, "Need U Bad" featuring Missy Elliot, is a reggae-tinged soul anthem that is already burning up the charts. When you hear Sullivan's sultry voice, you think of vintage Lauryn Hill, mixed with a splash of Jennifer Hudson, mixed well with Sullivan's own signature sound.
