Yes, They're Here: Grammy Nominations 2007

The Grammy Award nominations were announced on Thursday morning and Amy Winehouse and Kanye West lead the field with the most nominations. Kanye scored 8 while Wino, oops, I mean Winehouse held down 6.

Five acts received five nominations each — the Foo Fighters (yay!), Jay-Z (huh?), Timbaland (yay!), Justin Timberlake (hmmmm....ok!) , and T-Pain (booooooo!).

I gotta tell ya-- this disappoints me.... Did Jay-Z get 5 nods for Kingdom Come???? Because if so, that's ridiculous-- that album was trash. And American Gangster was ight, but it was nooooooo Black Album! And to be honest, Jay Z is no Frank Lucas either.... And what's this about T-Pain scoring 5 nods? That fool can't sing without a synthesizer, and all he "sings" about are "skrippers" rubbin their stank coochies on poles, and falling in love with them.... Yeesh!

I'm not exactly what you would call a fan, but I think Fergie is cool, and definiately talented. She eventually won me over, because I couldn't STAND her when she first came out with BEP... But I'm sorry, it just sucks that Fergie only scored one nomination - Best Pop Vocal Performance for Big Girls Don’t Cry. This chick had 5-- yes 5-- hit singles this year. How is it that T-Pain can get 5 nods, and can't even sing, and this girl gets one? I'm telling you people, music is officially on a serious decline.... Save your souls now!!!!!!!!
