Rick Ross FINALLY admits to being a correctional officer for 18 months after vehemently denying the claim that TheSmokingGun.com revealed months ago. What ensued was an internet frenzy with many calling "foul" on Ross' fake-thug image. Ross replied by saying that the supposed picture was an old high school picture that someone photo-shopped onto a correctional officer's head. He know sings a veyr different tune:

“Yes, it’s me.” continuing “I never tried to hide my past. I put my nameinside my CDs. My company has my [Social Security number]. I could’ve put a company name…I done been up and I done been down and that’s what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. When I’m making my music and I’m talking about blow, it’s because I did it. When I say that I’m rich off cocaine, it’s because I did it. Those are the street principals that apply.”

Naomi Campbell BANNED By Nelson Mandela!

Now this is sad.... For years, Naomi Campbell has been deeply involved with Nelson Mandela's 46664 AIDS Awareness organization. The number reflects the prison number he carried unjustly in South Africa for over 27 years. Naomi just so happened to be wearing a "46664" baseball cap during her arrest in at Heathrow airport earlier this year. Mandela (who is very close to Campbell, and sees her as a "granddaughter") was deeply embarrassed by the incident, and has banned her from presenting at his annual 46664 concert. She will only be allowed in the stands. Mandela will be celebrating his 90th birthday at this concert next week (God Bless him), and Amy Winehouse is said to be one of the featured acts... Hopefully, this ordeal will scare Campbell straight, before she ends up getting blacklisted by everyone!

For Serious? I Thought These Two Had Beef...

Interesting... Here's a pic of 'Shanti and her former label-mate Ja Rule churning out the ol' hits last week at Good Morning America. Initially, this picture threw me off because I could have sworn that these two had some serious beef after Ashanti abruptly left Murder Inc almost 4 years ago. But it's good to see that it's water under the bridge now. I just wonder if she feels as cordial to Irv Gotti after he told the world that he "hit that and split that"....

OJ Simpson Admits He KILLED Nicole!

There is a new book out by Mike Gilbert that supposedly outlines how OJ confessed to his wife's murder after smoking a joint and taking a sleeping pill. The Associated Press had the following report:

"He said Simpson had smoked pot, took a sleeping pill and was drinking beer when he confided at his Brentwood home weeks after his trial what happened the night of June 12, 1994. Simpson said he went to his ex-wife's condominium, but did not bring a knife with him. Simpson told him Nicole Brown Simpson had one in her hand when she opened the door.In a soft mumble, Simpson told him: "If she hadn't opened that door with a knife in her hand ... she'd still be alive.""Nothing more needed to be said," Gilbert writes. "O.J. had confessed to me. There's no doubt in my mind."

Here We Go.... Here We Go AGAIN!

Not even 2 weeks out of the pen, and ol' Inga is back to her ol' tricks. Apparently she was a no-show for a court hearing this morning in Brooklyn concerning a prior assault case. Remember 2 years ago when Ms. Brown bust a girl upside her head with a Blackberry? (Yeah... Fox and Naomi compare notes) Anyway, homegirl pressed charges against her, and Foxy was nowhere to be found. Well... considering that she's "turned a new leaf" and just got out of prison, the judge used no leniancy in this case. As we speak there is a bench warrant out for Foxy's arrest... And she shouldn't be hard too find either-- she's shooting a reality show for goodness sakes! SMH.... eternally. Jesus, please oh please take the wheel on this one!

UPDATE: The bench warrant for Inga Marchand has been recalled. Apparently there was a rescheduling of the hearing by all parties, but the court was not informed. Therefor, the bench warrant was issued because of the lack of information...The hearing will resume tomorrow May, 8th. My bad Fox, but for the record: deep down inside, I just KNEW you couldn't be tat flagrant... Jesus sure did have the wheel on this one. Holla!

Mariah Carey Hates Her Fans!

Mariah "the diva" Carey angered fans last week when she showed up two hours late to her promo appearance at Hard Rock Cafe. She was greeted by a series of boos and hisses from the hostile crowd. What's worse is that her fans had been waiting almost 8 hours for her, and the first 100 to buy her CD were promised one-on-one greetings with the star. After about 2 hours Carey "got tired" and went home. Leaving hundreds of fans angry and disgruntled because they didn't get their one-on-one that they were guaranteed.Chaos ensued as angry fans tossed their CD's in disgust.... Wow-- ya girl is EXTRA, and that's not even the word for it. As always, you reap what you sow Mariah-- don't forget who got you to where you are! Geez!
