For Serious, Jet Blue?

Don't know this guy, huh? Well you should.. Especially some of you ladies out there because this is a newly rich and VERY SMART man. Raed Jarrar (Jet Blue passenger & all-around genius) just made $240,000 in light of our constitution. He boarded a Jet Blue flight and was asked to change his shirt because it made other passengers "uneasy" and was: "The equivalent of a man going into a bank with a shirt that says, 'I am a bank robber'". Wow-- so many things wrong with THAT one, that I'm not even going to touch it. His t-shirt had Arabic script written on the front with: "We will not be silenced" written right below it. Ohhhhh the horror (**rolling eyes strongly & intently**)!!! Anyway, Mr. Jarrar was forced to move from the front of the plane to the back-- even after he was kind enough to remove his shirt in exchange for one of Jet-Blue's. I am appalled at our behavior in this country. Aren't we supposed to be "free"? Whatever happened to freedom of speech and yadda, yadda, yadda?

In any event, I'm glad we have the freedom to sue, because ol' boy sued the PANTS offa Jet Blue-- and trust me, this is NOT the economic climate in which you want to get sued over frivolous stupidity like this... SMH. Big shouts to Mr. Jarrar, and anyone who stands up against that big ol' ugly machine.

The Distress of Burress...

I was watching Good Day NY this morning-- as I do every morning, and I heard the latest news about our wayward homie Plaxico Burress. He has been suspended from the NFL (not quite sure if that's just for this season or not), and he will be fined (possibly up to 800,000) by the city of New York...

According to Burress, one of his teammates (Steve Smith) got robbed at gunpoint on the night after Thanksgiving. He was walking into his home after being dropped off by a chauffered vehicle, when he was approached with by a gunman from behind. He had to give up his wallet, jewels and cell phone. When word got back to the rest of the team, they were nervous. Apparently Burress was extra-nervous and started strappin' up.

Because of Burress' lack of better judgement many people have been hurt by this incident. The Latin Quarters club he was at is under investigation for allowing a gun into their establishment. They will likely get shutdown. The hospital worker that admitted him after he shot himself is getting fired-- it's against the law to admit a patient with a gunshot wound and not call police. The doctor that operated on Burress had his licence to practice in hospitals stripped-- for the same reason. It's so sad that all these people have suffered because of their lack of judgement as well as Burress'. Let this be a lesson to you-- always look out for #1 because when the ish hits the fan... You know the rest.

The "Jig" Is Undeniably Up...

Take a good look kids. This is what a moron looks like. According to the New York Times, Plaxico Burress turned himself in at an NYC police precinct in midtown this morning. He is facing charges of criminal handgun possession. On Saturday night he was at a Manhattan nightclub (Latin Quarters) when he accidentally shot himself in the leg. Deeper investigation revealed he did not have a NY license (which is the ONLY gun license accepted in the state of New York). What a marroon! Yes, I said a MARROON. NYT has more on the subject:

Burress, a star player [for the NY Giants] with a history of trouble both on and off the field, could face more than three years in prison, the authorities have said, because he did not have a permit to carry a gun in New York City. A law enforcement official said that the gun, a Glock semiautomatic pistol, was recovered at Burress’s home in Totowa, N.J.

The police have said they are also interested in talking with Giants linebacker Antonio Pierce, who was with Burress when the gun went off in an alcove near the V.I.P. room section of the Latin Quarters nightclub. Running back Ahmad Bradshaw was with them, but he was in a different part of the club at the time of the shooting.

Boy oh boy, where to begin. Why did he have a gun? What, he's tough-guys all of a sudden? Why wasn't the safety on? How did he get past metal detectors? This is insane. Not only is the talented Burress facing a possible 3-year stint in jail, he might lose his ability to play for the League all together because of this. I'm sure I know the answer to what he would say if I were to ask him whether this was worth it or not...

Hudson Tragedy Update: Michele Balfour Talking Crazy on CNN

Below is a piece from CNN where Michelle Balfour (William Balfour's mother) speaks out about the on-going investigation on her suspect son, and the tragedies surrounding last friday's triple homicide in the Hudson family. WATCH:

New and Shocking Details In Hudson Triple Homicide

So far, all eyes have been on William Balfour-- estranged ex-husband of Jennifer Hudson's sister. Now, The Chicago Tribune has some lurid details about the hours leading up to the murders, and that shady-character Balfour's whereabouts. Apparently he was a no-show to a meeting with his parole officer scheduled for that same day:

Records also show that Balfour missed a meeting with his parole agent on Friday, the day Hudson’s mother and brother were murdered and her 7-year-old nephew went missing. Reached by phone that afternoon, he told the agent he was “baby-sitting on the West Side of Chicago,” according to the documents, obtained by The Associated Press.

The agent said he thought he heard a child in the background during the call.

Hudson’s nephew, Julian King, was found shot to death in the back of an SUV on Chicago’s West Side on Monday. Julian and his mother, Julia Hudson, shared a home with Hudson’s mother, 57-year-old Darnell Donerson, and brother, 29-year-old Jason Hudson, who also died of gunshot wounds.

Disgusting. And to add fuelt o the flames, it seems liek Balfour comes from a family of blood-thirsty criminals. Check out what Chicago Tribune says about that:

William Balfour — the “person of interest” in the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother and nephew — isn’t the first Balfour to run afoul of the law. Balfour’s father is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence for murder. His brother served time for drug dealing. Balfour himself has served time for attempted murder and carjacking. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Balfour was a member of the Gangster Disciple Street Gang. Also according to court docs, Balfour told the judge back in 1999 he had a good relationship with his mother until “she gets an attitude.”

The Maniacs Live Among Us.

According to the Associated Press, today in Tennessee two skinheads were taken into custody for their attempted assassination plot on Senator Obama. The two idiots, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. They had planned to kill and decapitate several Black people and eventually go to Washington where they planned to take Obama out.

This is just a painful reminder that we have a long way to go. Although Obama is literally living Dr. King's dream, we are only halfway there. We live in a diverse society where all people of different faiths, belief systems, nationalities, cultures and creeds can come together and live harmoniously. But we should NEVER forget that there are those who threaten that freedom. We should NEVER forget that there are those who use violence, ignorance and hate to be the shield against their own insecurities. We must stand up against this hate, and fight against the ignorance. We have to learn to be more tolerant of each other and our differences-- for that is the beauty and the essence of humankind. I love diversity. I live diversity. I'm about the most ecclectic sommoma bitch you'll come into contact with. And I make NO APOLOGIES for it. I know people that are closed-minded and are only open to one thing. What is around them, and what is considered "normal". I pity them. They will never know the joys of this vast and diverse world. Black, White, Latin, Asian-- there is a sector of every group that does this. It's not just a "white" thing, and it's sad. Seeing things like this makes me sick to the pit of my stomach-- but it's the reality we face. And unfortunately it's as American as apple pie. Unfortunately, hate has been a constant theme since the birth of this country. I hope and pray that one day we can change, and it's never too late. But until then... We must never, EVER forget: the nightmare.... And the DREAM.

The Sad & Tragic Events of the Hudson Family...

Jennifer Hudson has clearly been living the American dream since her debut to the world on American Idol some 5 years ago. Unfortunately for the budding singer/starlet that dream was completely shattered this past Friday... At 3pm on Friday afternoon, Hudson's brother, Jason Hudson,29, and mother, Darnell Hudson, 57, were found shot and dead in their Chicago home. Her seven-year-old nephew, Julian King, was missing from the scene... His body was found this morning in a white SUV that had an Amber Alert on it. Jennifer has ID'ed the body and it is indeed her nephew. Julian is the son of Jennifer's sister Julia Hudson.

The homicides are being deemed "domestic" because there is no clear motive (as far as robbery or sexual assault) in the case. William Balfour (Julia's estranged ex-husband) is a prime suspect. He was taken into the authorities this weekend, and is being held on a parole violation. He served 7 years for attempted murder, vehicular hi-jacking, and possesing a stolen vehicle.

This case is sad, horrific, vile and tragic. Jennifer is a strong talented woman, with a beautiful spirit, and it is a shame that her and her family have been put through this sheer and utter torture. Our prayers and best-wishes go out to the Hudson family, and I hope this cowardly, cold-hearted fool gets caught and thrown under the jail for 10 lifetimes. I'm disgusted.

T-Pain hosted, but initally it was supposed to be Katt Williams. I Fail To Find The Funny, Kanye.

Well, I guess this is part of Kanye's new comedy show that he's been working on... I dunno, if you ask me it's coon-ish (and I know that's not a word, but bare with me). It's just... Not.... Funny. Not funny in the least. And I have SEEN pregnant chicks in the club, poppin bottles with audacity. Trust me, there is absolutely NOTHING funny about that. I wish I could find the funny in it, but it just brings tears to my eyes... Ok, maybe it's not THAT serious (LOL), but this is some foolishness. SMH.

Well, you know the blog-name. It's my responsibility! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this, but during an Olympics Tae-Kwon-Do match, the Cuban who lost got so frustrated that he kicked the ref in the face! This is undoubtedly one of the most disgusting displays of poor sportsmanship I have ever seen. Needless to say, he was banned from the Olympics forever. Crazed Man Murders & Beheads Fellow Greyhound Bus Passenger

I told y'all the world was cruel... Sometimes with no rhyme or reason. Vince Weiguang Li of Admonton, Alberta (Canada) is in court today facing murder charges for beheading 22 year-old Tim McClean-- who was innocently sitting next to him on the Greyhound bus. A fellow passenger described the incident as random claiming that out of nowhere he heard Tim's blood-curddling screams. Passenders watched in horror as the crazed man stabbed Tim repeatedly. There was no prior conversation. Tim had been asleep listening to his headphones. The attack started completely from nowhere! Several ran out for help, and some brave ones held the suspect captive with hammers and crobars until police arrived.

After Li stabbed McClean, he beheaded him. There was a stand-off between police and Li for an hour. Li was in the bus alone with the dead body, and when he tried to escape out of a window, he was captured... What an idiot. I honestly don't have any words for wisdom on this one, I just want this story to sink in... Sometimes there is so much evil in this world, and we just can't fathom why. Perhaps it is part of the balance of things? I don't know. But senseless deaths and killings such as these always make me wonder...

U.S Soldier Sentenced To Death By George Bush!

According to CNN.com, Private Ronald Gray (who has been on U.S military death row since 1988) has been approved for execution by "President" Bush. Gray was convicted of raping and killing female army-private as well as a civilian in Fort Bragg, NC. He was also convicted of the rape and attempted murder of another female private. Gray pleaded guilty to 2 murders and 5 rapes between April 1986 and January 1987. This is the first approval for military-execution since 1966. Wow, what a cruel and ugly world this can be... This man is a beast!

China Is Racist! Refuses To Serve Blacks During Olympics!!!

According to THIS STORY on Shanghaiist.com, Beijing bar owners and employees have been instructed to turn Black and Mongolian patrons away from their bars during this Olympic season. Apparently, this order has been passed down by the Public Security Bureau of Beijing:

Bar owners near the Workers' Stadium in central Beijing say they have been forced by Public Security Bureau officials to sign pledges agreeing not to let black people enter their premises.

"Uniformed Public Security Bureau officers came into the bar recently and told me not to serve black people or Mongolians," said the co-owner of a western-style bar, who asked not to be named.

This is sickening and sad. It makes my stomach churn. People are usually afraid of what they do not know, and in this case that reality is looming. My parents visited Hong Kong back in 2001, and during the trip my mother said crowds of people would stop, stare and even tough her to make sure she was real. Many of them had never seen a Black person before. Some were frightened-- some were curious, all were pretty much ignorant about anything outside of their culture... Knowing these things still happen and exist in this world frightens me... We must do better!

During the heated interview (below), Wendy tells Omarosa she needs more than Botox for her wrinkles, and Omarosa tells Wendy she needs a better wig that doesn't sit 3 inches off of her head.... Under the dictionary definition of idiot, you will probably see this picture. Doron Braunshtein is the idiot designer who made this shirt, and a host of others in his NYC boutique including: "Jews Against Obama", "Obama = Hitler", and "Who Killed Obama?" An unidentified female wearing the shirt was assaulted and spit on by four girls for wearing the above shirt. She is suing the designer for damages. 

Braunshtein claims that Obama is a modern-day Hitler, that he is a closet-Muslim (hmmmm, I wonder what Obama's church congregation would think of that accusation) and that Americans aren't ready for an African-American president. This fool claims he is not racist, and says that his race is the one thing he likes about Obama, because he is opening doors for other minorities.... Ok sure-- he's not racist. Because, you know slavery in this country had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with race.... Right? Yeah.... Riiiiiiiight.

Jesse On Barack: "I wanna cut his nuts off!"

Talk about a Freudian slip, eh? Jesse Jackson is currently picking his face up after the shameful display of player-haterism that he perpetrated on July 6th during a show on Fox News. Jackson did not know his mic was on, and he was discussing how he believes Obama patronizes Blacks. Shoot, I think I seen this ish coming. I mean, just look at JJ's oh-so-critical side-eye action. Obama has been ``talking down to black people on this faith-based,'' Jackson said according to a tape of the comments played on Fox's ``The O'Reilly Factor'' tonight.

``I want to cut his nuts off,'' Jackson then said, according to a report on the Fox News Web site.

Jackson, who didn't know the microphone was on, was commenting on talks Obama has made in black churches about parental responsibility and other social issues.

``Anything I said in a hot-mic statement that's interpreted as a distraction, I offer apologies for that,'' Jackson said at a news conference today.

``I have supported Barack's campaign with passion from the very beginning. I thought the very idea made sense,'' Jackson said. ``We've been there all the way, because I think this campaign is a redemptive moment for America and a great opportunity to redefine America.''

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said Obama ``will continue to speak out about our responsibilities to ourselves and each other, and he of course accepts Reverend Jackson's apology.''

This just makes me like Obama even more. Such humility and patience! Wow. Because if that were me, clearly I'd be breaking out the Vaseline and taking the earrings off. Them's fighting words, Jesse!

The Face Of An Illegitmate Child

As I paroused my obsession (shouts to Michael K @ dlisted.com!), I came across this image of Ashley Kaufman. She is the 13-year old sweetheart that Michal Lohan had behind his wife's back with Kristi Kaufman during a brief separation... Wow.. That's heavy. All these years Kaufman was mum to the media about this child, and now all of a sudden she's talking to anyone who will listen... Interesting. Mr. Lohan-- your family is a mess! Please get it together...

...But she is also the victim of a family SCANDAL! Apparently Lindsay has a secret sister that she never knew about until recently... Apparently, during a short-lived separation between Dina & Michael Lohan, he had a secret sexual tryst with some low-class hoochie-mama. The child is thirteen years old (this month), and the home-wrecker told OK! magazine that Michael keeps in contact with the child, though he has not seen her. The mother wants Michael to start being more responsible for his daughter.... I say touchay!
