Papoose & Remy-Ma Are Married...

...The quintessential thug-lovin couple of the century: Papoose & Remy-Ma got married. Initially, they were supposed to get married in May (before Remy's sentencing for an attempted murder charge she caught last year), but it never happened. Remy was sentenced to 8 years. Papoose confessed to XXL Magazine that he was married claiming , "Yep, it's true That's all I'm gonna say". The two apparently got married at Riker's Island penitentiary sometime this summer. NO further details have been divulged. Congrats to the happy hoodlums! LOL

She's At It Again!

Remy Ma is out with a new mixtape called, "BlasRemy"... She's really taking this sacrilegious bullshit to the tilt, isn't she? First, "Shesus Khryst" with an image of herself hanging from a cross, and now this... SMH. Anyway, for her sake I hope she didn't go over board with the images of violence and drugs because she is trying to appeal her 8-year jail sentence soon. That can only hurt her cause... And is it just me, or does she look a slight bit like Lil' Kim in the "How many Licks?" video? Real plasticy and whatnot-- Rem should be a shoe-in as a nominee for the photoshop awards. The Verdict is In: Remy ma Sentenced to 8 Years!

The state supreme court has given Remy, 26, a sentence of 8 years in a federal maximum security prison for shooting her former friend in the stomach last summer. The sentence was handed down just hours ago. Remy still insists that the shooting was an accident, but the judge knows her rap sheet...The judge had some harsh (yet real) words for the troubled rapstress as she looked on teary-eyed:

"This is somewhat of a pattern. This is not the first time she has been engaged in a violent act. She never took responsibility for her actions. This has nothing to do with rap it's about the actions of one person. Remy is an extremely angry young woman who feels the rules do not apply to her."

Rumor has it that Papoose became very emotional as well when the sentence was handed down-- screaming and pushing the officers saying:

"All y'all want is money! This is fucking BULLSHIT!"

Remy has plans to appeal the case, and as far as wedding plans , they will most likely continue when she is transferred to an upstate prison.... Sad.

I Guess God Does Shine On Us All

Those Bible study sessions must have been working for Remy-Ma because her sentence hearing has been pushed back to May 16th. Reporters are also speculating that the gangster-rapstress (and I MEAN gangster literally) will most likely get a lot less than her 5-25 proposed sentence. It's ironic because her biggest advocate and boyfriend (Papoose) has been encouraging her fans to write in to the judge's office with letters of how Remy's music was inspiring, uplifting, and changed their lives. The problem is, all Remy talks about is guns, drugs, sex and money. Oh yes, veeeeeeery uplifting... I guess her lifestyle and lyrics have finally bit her in the ass. Let this be a lesson to you kids: no matter what they say, CRIME DOESN'T PAY!

Remy Ma: DOING HARD TIME!

Remy ma is Guilty on 4 counts, including: attempted murder, assault charges, weapons possession, and attempted coercion....
Remy Ma was charged back in 2007 for a shooting that took place in July outside of the NYC's meat-packing district's trendy PIZZABAR. The rapper got into an argument with a friend of hers, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, over $3,000 in cash which was missing from her purse.
My opinion is homegirl must be broke to try to kill a friend of over 15 years over a measely 3 g's. If she has all the money she claims to have, that should have been peanuts to her! I gues not....Remy accused Barnes-Joseph of stealing the cash and managed to shoot at her outside a New York nightclub. Her attorneys tried to make the shooting appear as an accident, but the jury wasn't buying the bull....The Grammy nominated rapper was facing nine charges against her and has just been convicted on four major charges. She has two counts of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, and criminal possession of a weapon.
She was however, found not guilty of gang assault and witness tampering.
Remy Ma could face anywhere up to 25 years in prison. So far she has done 2 nights, and is on suicide watch. Celebs usually take prison time pretty hard, so they are keeping a close watch on her. As for now, her attorney is working on an appeal case for her... Good luck with that! I guess being "rouch and stuff wit ya afro puffs" ain't always worth it... Huh Remy???

The Claws Are Out: Lil' Kim & Remy Ma Got BEEF!!!

Recently, Remy Ma was on Kay Slay's Siruius Satellite Radio show talking about her new acquired beef with hip hop's "Queen Bee" Lil' Kim:

“That little boy better live me alone,” Remy said referring to Lil Kim. “ She was saying ‘I’m going at [Remy] hard, she go hard to me so I go hard back’. I feel like if that’s going at me hard, like seriously, I’m just gonna chill out. That’s crazy to me.”

“What did she say? ‘Put it on my lipstick, I was to be busy being conceited’. Like, how could you be conceited, you don’t even like your own face,” Remy continued. “ What are you talking about? Are you serious? How was I supposed to take that offensive.” “I don’t believe you,” stressed Remy. “ You don’t like your nose, you don’t like your cheek , you don’t like your chin, you don’t like your skin color, you don’t like your tits , you don’t like your stomach, you don’t like your teeth. What are you talking about?”

“At the end of the day it’s funny to me. When I really feel like it’s amusing, when I feel like someone’s getting at me, then I’ll drag them all over the first spot that I see them of course,” Remy continu ed. “ But in the meantime, in between time…like this chic has more ghostwriters than Foxy [Brown]. I just feel like right now she’s reaching”.....

Now, I love Kim and I like Remy too! Both are talented rappers with promising careers... HOWEVER.... I gotta side on Remy with this one. Kim is about one surgery away from looking like Michael Jackson, and I resent her for that because she was beautiful just the way she was. She might have been a product of her environment, but I don't care. She shouldn't have taken it there if she was so confident and "conceited" as she proclaims.... Sorry Kim, but WE DON'T BELIEVE YOU, YA NEED MORE PEOPLE!!!! What do y'all think???
