YAY For The Gays!

Yesterday, California legislature ruled AGAINST the ban of gay marriages. The vote was 3 to 4 with the majority ruling house... Ellen Degeneres announced on her show that she would marry her longtime girlfriend Portia DiRossi now that they legally can:

I’m thrilled that the California supreme court overturned the ban on gay marriage. I can’t wait to get married. We all deserve the same rights, and I believe that someday we’ll look back on this and not allowing gays to marry will seem as absurd as not allowing women to vote.P.S. Haha! Cute. And good for them! If that's what your into, then that's what your into-- we shouldn't judge them! Seems like we're taking real steps towards becoming an actual "free" country... First a black man as a presidential hopeful-- now this??? There is hope for us after all. Cheers!
