In All Fairness...

...We all know the Republican National Convention kicked off this week. I'm not promising "equal coverage", because this is MY blog, and I get to decide what I want to display or not display. But I will say that there will be coverage-- just to keep abreast of the latest. Last night, the controversial Sarah Palin did her speech and essentially had to prove herself to the nation. Her speech was clever ( and very sarcastic, almost to the point of offensive), and she clearly did not write it herself. Her and McCain have exaggerated her achievements and down-played Obama's. It was upsetting. She claimed Obama has written memoirs but never laws... That is false. She boasts improving local energy sources for the country, which she can't really take credit for-- she's from an oil state. She hasn't done more than say a George Bush who hails from Texas-- another oil state. She's all around pretty much a hot mess. If you didn't get a chance to hear the speech, you can check it below:

  1. I couldn't agree with you more! I was trying to determine if I was watching the RNC or a Junior High School Pep Rally! Mrs. Palin's speech lacked fact....and almost reality! With so much sarcasm....waiting for hoorah's....and complete disregard for the next President of the United States, Mrs. Palin forgot to mention our economy, the real affects of this war, and what the American people were hoping and looking to hear! I'd be surprised if the Republican's allow her to go all the way with this nomination! Smacking my lips!! HMPH!!
