...Then we all know (now) that Wanda Sykes can... As some of you already know, Wanda came out of the "closet" recently, in light of the Prop. 8 decision banning gay marriages. Wanda is not only a girlfriend-- Wanda is a wife... A lot of people were hurt because of this decision. I say live and let live-- but hey, maybe that's just me.
Over the years many friends have commented to me asking why I thouhgt Queen Latifah didn't just "come out already" being as she is a bonafide A-lister. But I guess to each his own. I'm happy for Wanda for coming out like that as a Black entertainer. It's not easy (particularly in our community) to do that. Check out what Wanda had to say:
