Bey was here in the Big Apple at the premiere of her new film, "Cadillac Records" that comes out on Friday. In the shot above she is with her pet camel-- oops, I mean husband Jay-Z. He really needs a tape-up and a trash bin for those bifocals... Sheesh! Anyway, Bey is doing big things (as usual), starring as Etta James in the new flick:
I kinda want to see it, not because of Bey's acting abilities (LOL), but because I've always wanted to see her act like a cracked-out fiend. Now THAT's what I call entertainment!

I'm interested to see this. Solid actors in Jeffrey Wright and Adrien Brody would seem to give the flick some gravitas. I'll be the first in line...waiting for Big Steve to pull the bootlegs outta his trunk in the Food Lion parking lot, that is...
