Last Saturday the flyest peeps from far and wide came to see the new collection of goodies at the Brooklyn Circus in downtown bklyn, USA. The funkiest and freshest dudes (and the ladies!) were in the house to cop the most exclusive in ultra-fine urban-wear. The BKC is more than a boutique line for men and ladies. It's clearly an underground culture that is gaining more and more popularity everyday. The ambience was dope. Music from the early 70's to that new-new was on constant rotation. Above is a picture of Bevin-- who ran himself ragged all day trying to make all the customers and models in the house happy (LOL, that dude is a trip!). He's rockin the very-fresh BKC pea-coat with red-trim detail and patch on the side, along with their pageboy hat with their signature elephant logo-detail on the side...
Here's a snapshot of one of the lucky early-birds trying to get his pick of their new pinstripe oxford shirts and peacoats...
This is their little anti-mannequin set-up... Just so you can get an idea of how a BKC outfit should be rocked...
When you step into the circus, you're stepping into luxury, and lavishness. Not only do the details of the designs and craftmanship of the clothing speak to this effect, but their whole atmosphere does. These two lovely ladies in the shot above? They are masseuses/manicurists that were hired for the event. SICK!!!!
Oh, and can we talk food? Exoctic cheeses, pastries and prosciutto were the selections of choice for this swaggerific event. Tall flutes of Perrier and fine wine went all around. Made me real glad I came...
These cats are so fresh that they have an authentic low-rider in the middle of the store-- all chromed out lookin all crispy, and shiny and shit... Do y'all know how LONG I'VE WANTED A LOW-RIDER???? I coulda died....
The clientele came in dressed to impress. They didnt hesistate to swipe their Visa's and Mastercards to be on top of the ever-changing fashion-elite of NYC. And these dudes were clean. I'm talkin ascots, cuff-links, bow-ties, argyles, 3-piece suits-- the whole nine yards. Not only was I impressed, but several times during the event I forgot where I was. Did I die and go to fashion heaven? Perhaps....
And of course, I end the presentation with a candid shot of the owner-- the genius and the brains behind the brand...Ouigi! But I call him Mr. Fierce-Beard because he is ROCKIN that beard like nobody's business! Dig??
If you would like to know more about The Brooklyn Circus, just go to: www.thebkc.com and check out their collection. They have a store in NYC, Chicago and San Francisco. I'm sure that Paris, Milan and Tokyo will soon be putting in their bids as well. This line is SERIOUS! I have a deep love and respect for brands that craft their art and put time and detail into their pieces. BKC has passed my test, and they'll surely pass yours... HOLLA!

That was defintely a great event.. The clothing & the materials are dope. BKc likes to give the customer a different perspective on how 2 flip it. But for me, I love the urban, hood wear look with the jeans and nike/prada kicks. BKc defintely passed the test and most defintely will continue 2 support.
