Y'all remember when I wrote the post last week about a Greyhound Bus Beheading? Well apparently Greyhound had some damage-control to do in their advertising department. In a twist of irony so unbelievable, Greyhound had just launched an ad-campaign only weeks before that boasted of the comfort and peace of riding their bus lines. The advertisement claims: "There's a reason you have never heard of bus rage". Well honey, lemme tell you something: We MOST CERTAINLY HAVE!
For those of you who don't know, week a Chinese immigrant (Vince Li) living in Canada, stabbed and beheaded 22-year old carnival-worker, Tim McLean. After he beheaded the young man, authorities say Li cut off chunks of his body and ate it. Witnesses claim there was no confrontation prior. The man had just been listening to his ipod quietly. The attack was random. So much for that anti bus-rage campaign Greyhound! Not a good look for the streets at all.
there isn't always drama but sometimes you get it. when i was younger, my mother was takin me and my brother to atl for a family reunion/thanksgiving at my cousin house. of course my brother being the dick that he is, decides to sit in the back by himself. while on the way, there's a commotion in the back. my mother sends me to check on my brother. as i get to the back the bus driver turns on the bus lights and i see a brother leaning over the chair pissed off at some white guy. next thing i know, dude gets CRACKED across the jaw. you heard that CLICK of knuckle and jawbone comin together. white dude got tapped hard. the bus driver pulled over at the next toll and called the cops. they took two black guys off the bus. i thought that was weird because i only saw one black guy saw one punch. my brother told me that white guy was makin some bad, racist jokes and spelled out NIGGER, pointing at each person as she said a letter. funny they didn't pull the white guy off the bus and to this day i don't know why they pulled the other black guy off the bus. all i remember was seein that white man all jacked up.
